Does the finder need an app?

No. The finder scans the QR code with a phone camera and opens the pet profile in a browser.

Is this live GPS?

No. ScanMyPetNow is not a live GPS tracker. Location can only be shared if a finder scans the tag and chooses to allow location access.

Can I update contact info?

Yes. The MVP demo shows instant profile and emergency contact updates. Production will require secure account/database setup.

Does this guarantee pet recovery?

No. It helps a finder contact the owner faster, but recovery depends on the tag being readable, the finder scanning it, internet/device access, and accurate owner information.

Yes. The MVP messaging supports future vet, groomer, rescue, and pet-service partner channels without claiming a broad network before it exists.

Will this be billed monthly?

Not necessarily. The current preferred direction is a one-time tag purchase with a separate license or renewal structure, but final pricing and disclosures are still being reviewed.
